Enchanted Captions

Welcome to Enchanted Captions Blog. I'm Jean Brown, and like most of you viewing this blog, I love great books - stories that can take me away from the monotonous everyday life obstacles and cast me into a journey to escape to another realm for a few hours. My desire, in this blog, is to connect with authors and readers and share a common passion - great stories.

Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a lifelong fan of fiction, in all genres, with my favorites being psychological thrillers, suspense, paranormal, science fiction and horror, and I love when romance and comedy gets mixed in with all genres. My favorite authors are Dean Koontz, Stephen King, John Saul, Karen Slaughter, Nora Roberts and Nicholas Sparks, but my favorites extend to indie authors which are too many to list in this very wide range of genres.

Besides the love of writing and reading, I'm a hopeless animal lover, spending much of my time rescuing, fostering and working as an animal rights advocate. As always, a canine is an important character in my books as I attempt to portray unconditional love and loyalty. I would love to hear from you about your favorite book or pet, or answer any questions you may have about one of the books I've reviewed.

With this passion, a reader will truly feel a connection with the author regardless if the reader agrees with the author about the subject matt...
